Urban family drama
Stormy Ellison has spent her entire life being the dependable one—the daughter who fixes problems, the sister who keeps the peace, and the woman who never asks for more than loyalty in return.
With her wedding only days away, she should be focused on dresses, vows, and the future she fought to build with Matthew Calloway.
Instead, her sister Summer cannot keep food down. Her mother is whispering behind closed doors. Matthew knows too much about Summer’s appointments, moods, and body. And every question Stormy asks is met with the same warning:
Stop being suspicious before you ruin your own wedding.
Then the truth finally breaks through.
Summer is pregnant.
Matthew is the father.
And the betrayal did not begin with one reckless night.
Stormy soon realizes the people closest to her have been protecting a secret relationship, choosing sides, and pushing the wedding forward because her marriage benefits everyone except her.
Now, with the ceremony approaching and her family determined to control what happens next, Stormy must decide whether to expose them publicly—or let them believe the dependable daughter will sacrifice herself one more time.
A raw, fast-paced urban family drama about betrayal, manipulation, loyalty, and the moment a woman stops protecting the people who destroyed her.

Yes, but it makes the story, it pulls you in and if the first person pov doesn’t bother you then you will enjoy it. Is it a love story? Heck nah..nope not even close. Will it piss you off? To the tenth power. The plans, audacity, and twist will you side eying everyone close to you. Overall it was interesting to read.”
