He Put Her in His Will Before His Wife

Darianne sits in the back of Cyrus Sutton’s funeral while his wife, Marielle, takes her rightful place in the front row.

Both women knew Cyrus. But only one of them was supposed to be part of his public life.

Cyrus knew how to make a woman feel chosen. He opened doors, offered opportunities, and made secrecy sound like protection. Now that he’s gone, Darianne has to face everything he left behind—and what it really meant to be special to a man who belonged to someone else.

A Sanaa Jordan story about betrayal, power, and the secrets people leave behind.
